Dunlap, James L.James L.Dunlap, (Karaoke Kid) 62, Marshfield, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Savarimuthu Selvalaj officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Dunlap, Keith Kremer, Kenny Kremer, Dustin Kuehmichel, Dan Oliver and Scott Unertl.The visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday at Rembs Funeral Home and from 10:00 am on Tuesday until service time at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. James was born on March 30, 1955 in Aurora, IL to James F. and Mildred (Meyers) Dunlap. He attended Neillsville schools. He married Kathleen H. Bauer on June 23, 1984 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hewitt, and they were happily married for 32 years. Jim was a dedicated truck driver for many years, being employed for the last 12 years at Lang Furniture until his recent retirement. Jim enjoyed helping out others with vehicles and home projects. He also enjoyed and was the founder of "Karaoke Kid" and DJ-ing, as well as restoring vehicles. He loved his Camaro, making go karts and 4-wheelers for his grandkids and going on trips with friends and family. He loved being outdoors and was a hunter. He enjoyed traveling and recently went on a trip to Hawaii with his wife. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, (my love) and 5 children, Christopher Dunlap of Marshfield, Andy Dunlap of Augusta, Jeremy (Jenny) Dunlap of Marshfield, Ashley (Dustin) Kuehmichel of Marshfield, and Dustin Dunlap (Brett Weiland) of Marshfield. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Jesse Berens, and Trinitty, Haylee, Maci and Alexis Kuehmichel. He is further survived by his mother, Mildred Dunlap of Abbotsford, a sister, Sharon (Dennis) Gall of Grafton, a brother, Barry (Karen) Dunlap of Dorchester, a sister-in-law, Patricia Dunlap of Neillsville, a brother-in-law, Bruce Deibert of Princeton, the extended Bauer family, his adopted children and shop children and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Debra Deibert, a brother, Raymond Dunlap and his father and mother-in-law, Leonard and Eleanor Bauer.
