James Pittman, a beloved member of the Valdosta community, passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 82. He was born on January 17, 1943, in Valdosta, Georgia, United States.

James was a devoted husband to his wife, Betty Pittman, whom he married in 1963. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Ricky Pittman and Gary Pittman.

James was also a loving grandfather to two grandchildren. He cherished spending time with his family and creating lasting memories with them.

Throughout his life, James was known for his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. He had a passion for woodworking and spent many hours in his workshop creating beautiful pieces for his loved ones.

James will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
