James Lee Chatman(aka) Jimmy Kee was born on November 22, 1948 in Bellizonia, Mississippi to the late Everleaner Daniels & Alfonzo Johnson. Jimmy Lee was later broiught to Buchanan Michigan where he was raised by grandparents the late Elizebeth and James Hill Sr. As a young man Jimmy received his education at Buchanan schools and later Joined the United States Army. Years later he married his beautiful Wife Carla yoder and turned his life over to Christ. In that union he gained a stepson Justin Yoder who referred to Jimmy as Popa Whopa. Jimmy Lee obtained his sobriorty of 2 years and resided along with his family in Jackson, MI. Jimmy lee also joined the Civitan Club of Jackson working with youth and the disabled.

Jimmy Leaves to cheris his Loving wife Carla, Stepson Justin Yoder, (2 )brothers Demetrious & James Hill Jr. which proceeded him in death. Special Love ones Princella Tobias,Darlene Kimble (Cari) Southbend, Niles MI, Buchanan and his Detroit Family. Jimmy Lee often mentioned two close friends Evangelis Beverly Miller and Paul Marzita. Jimmy Lee had no problem sharing his love and with that being said he's resting peacefully.
