James Lucas, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on September 7, 2024, in Washington City, District of Columbia, United States. He was born on January 3, 1940, to Earl and Mary Lucas.

James was married to his loving wife, Anna Mae Lucas, in 1964. Together, they raised three children - James Lucas Jr, Rita Lucas, and Anthony Lucas. He also leaves behind two precious grandchildren, Brittany Lucas and Kristen Ellis.

James dedicated many years of his life to working for the Government, where he eventually retired in 2002. In his free time, he enjoyed indulging in his hobby of hunting.

James will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his strong work ethic, and his passion for the outdoors. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
