James Dear, a beloved member of the Monticello, Mississippi community, passed away on June 26, 2024. He was born on November 5, 1980, and was known for his warm smile and kind heart.

James married Ashley Dear in the year 21 and together they raised four beautiful children - Madison, Deanna, Samuel, and Jamieson. The family lived a full and happy life in Monticello.

James was a dedicated employee at Deer’s Logging & Trucking, where he worked tirelessly to provide for his family. In his free time, he enjoyed indulging in his hobbies of drawing and writing, showcasing his creative spirit.

He was a proud graduate of Mccomb High School and carried the lessons learned there throughout his life. James will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love for his family, and his hardworking nature.

He passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. James will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
