James Williams, 84, of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed Sunday, June 23, 2019. James was born to Sonny Williams , and Martha Rainey , September 23, 1934.

James graduated from Lawless High School. He married Betty Williams in 50, and they lived together in New Orleans. James worked at United States Marine Corps until he retired in 1985.

E8 Williams served his country as a Infantry in the 1st Battalion of the Marine Corps for 24 years.

James is survived by 3 children: James Melbrough Williams Jr (Ashley Williams ), Byron Williams , and . He also is survived by 4 grandchildren.
