James M. "Ricky" Robinson, Jr.February 7, 1957 - December 26, 2016ReadingJames Monroe (Ricky) Robinson, Jr., 59, entered into rest on Monday, December 26, 2016 at his home in Reading.Those that knew James affectionately knew him as "Ricky". Ricky was born on February 7, 1957 to the late James M. and Tossie L. (Williams) Robinson, Sr.Ricky was educated through the York City School System and was a York High graduate Class of 1975. Ricky was an avid sports fan and his favorite team was the Miami Dolphins. Rickey played football for the South York Warriors and soft ball with the York Jets an intramural sports team. Ricky leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Rauskeeka Robinson of York and Atya Ortiz of Florida; two brothers, Charles "Buddy" Sexton and Clair Sexton (Pam) both of York; five sisters Faye Clines of Georgia, Marlene Norrell, Joan Gould (Lorenzo), both of York, Jo'Ann Lee (Darryl) of Reading and Gwen Robinson of Maryland; seven grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family members and friends. In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by three siblings, Donald Sexton, Carolyn Sexton and William (Billy) Sexton.A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 6 p.m. at Jabez Ministries, 40 Jefferson Ave., York, PA 17404 and the family will receive friends at 5 p.m. at the church.
