James Davis, beloved husband, father to zero, and construction extraordinaire, passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 66 in Columbia, South Carolina.

James was born on April 6, 1958, and spent his life dedicated to his work in construction, tirelessly building and creating until his retirement in 2023. Some may say he had a knack for working hard, but those who knew him best knew that he was just really good at avoiding household chores.

Despite his lack of offspring, James had a full and fulfilling life. He enjoyed spending his free time avoiding social gatherings and perfecting his talent for grilling the perfect steak.

James will be remembered for his quick wit, his love of practical jokes, and his unwavering commitment to avoiding yard work at all costs.

At James' request, there will be no service, as he never really liked being the center of attention anyway. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to your local animal shelter in his memory.
