James "Jim" L. Schlosser1943 - 2016James "Jim" L. Schlosser, 73, formerly of Kenosha, late of Janesville, passed away peacefully, surrounded by those who love him, Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, at Willowick in Clinton, Wis.He was born on Feb. 27, 1943, to the late Allen and Ruth (Mahon) Schlosser in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha.Jim entered the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1963.On Nov. 23, 1963, he married Aleata V. Taylor in Kenosha. Jim worked as the plant manager for Tri-Clover for many years, retiring in 2000. He designed and built three different machines for the companyJim was very active at the First Assembly of God with mission work and was a Royal Ranger Leader. Jim enjoyed fishing, camping, an outdoorsman, barns, building houses and rebuilding cars. He also enjoyed photography and traveling where he visited 10 different countries.Jim is survived by his wife Aleata, his daughters DeAnna (Ladi) Olayemi of Janesville, Lori Schlosser of Beloit and Gina (Dan) Gutche of Randall, his grandchildren Zachary Gutche, Ericka Sura, Daniel Schlosser and Stefanie Schlosser, his great grandchildren Brayden Gutche, Janelle Moreno and Jesus Moreno Jr., his siblings Lawrence (Loretta) Schlosser of Culpepper, Va., Norma Jean (Connie Aldrich) Schlosser of Charleston, Miss., and Linda (Steve) Gorin of Batesville, Miss., and his beloved dog Bella and grand dog Bailey.His brother Michael preceded him in death.Funeral Services for Jim will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 30, at 6 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Full Military Honors will follow.
