He was born on March 22, 1960 to Rudy and Janie (Martinez) Ybarra in Castroville, Texas. Jimmy was a self-employed carpenter and took a lot of pride in his work.On Sept. 9, 2008, he married Donna Rios in San Angelo. Jimmy loved his grandkids who were his pride and joy. He was an avid Texas Rangers fan and enjoyed coaching his son and grandson. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law; Cecilia Rios.Jimmy is survived by his loving spouse of nine years, Donna Ybarra; parents, Rudy and Janie Ybarra; daughter, Monica (Christopher) Gomez; son, Jeremy (Alma) Ybarra; step-daughters, Christina Talavera and Cassandra Talavera; grandchildren, J. J. Ybarra, Joseph Ybarra, Mireya Ybarra, Aaleyah Ybarra, C. J. Gomez, Ryan Gomez; step-grandsons, Amelio Ardoin, Christien Ardoin, Adyn Ardoin, Jayden Hernandez, Julien Hernandez and Jorden Hernandez; sisters, Irma Ybarra and fianc? Stephen Hernandez, and Annette (David) Diggs.Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 in Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian burial is at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church, with Father Joey Faylona officiating.
