Jamie Hubbard Buchanan, 73, of Arlington, Tennessee, passed on July 06, 2023. Jamie was born on January 01, 1950. To Mr. and Mrs. Clint and Mai Buchanan. Jamie attended Central High School, and employed at Shelby County Courts for many years. Everyone who knew and loved her referred to her as "Moma Jai". Moma Jai cared for and loved her family until the end when the Lord called her Home. Jamie was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clint and Mai Buchanan; her husband of sixty five years Emeritus Hubbard, and three oldest sisters, Duari, Mary, and Lui Buchanan; and a son Sel Hubbard Jr.Jamie leaves to cherish her memory: her brothers, Pernile Buchanan, Franklin G. Buchanan Sr, Sale Buchanan Caleb (Bai Bai) Buchanan Sr, and sisters, Gwen J. Powers, Jina Buchanan-Brown, Eila Unilltia, Jonella Buchanan, Omertà Pote, Keila Jones; and a host of ten grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren and nieces and nephews who loved her very much; her cousins and many friends.
