Jane Daphne (Good) Gammon, 76, of Glenwood, passed away Dec. 6, 2016 surrounded by her family at her home. She was born on May 13, 1940 in Omaha to Roy Clifford and Laura Catherine (Connor) Good. Following her education, she was united in marriage to Luther Chester Gammon on Sept. 7, 1958 in Glenwood. To this union four children were born; Tracy, Todd, Craig and Meg.Jane was employed as a registered nurse for the Glenwood Resource Center until her retirement in 2004. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and PEO Chapter FF. She loved spending time with her family and going to her home on Lake Okoboji.Preceding Jane in passing were her parents, husband, grandson, Joseph Allen Blankenship; sister, Wardine Bang; brother, Jack Good; and cousin, Carole Connor Williams. Survivors include her children, Tracy Blankenship of Glenwood; Todd (Monique) Gammon of Frisco, Texas; Craig (Alicia) Gammon of Vilonia, Ark.; Meg (Rob) Schroeder of Glenwood; eight grandchildren, Devonne, Joe, Jacob, Brekke, Frances, Alyssa, Drew and Grant; canine companions, Hildi and Bella; half-brother, Jack Butler of Orlando, Fla.; cousin, John (Jan) Connor of Lincoln; extended relatives and many friends.A visitation was held Friday, Dec. 9 and services were held Saturday Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. at Peterson Mortuary. Interment was held in the Glenwood Cemetery.A memorial fund has been established.
