RACINE - Mrs. Jane E. (nee: Hermes) Sharkozy, 92, passed away on July 13, 2012 at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare in Racine. Jane was born on September 1, 1919 and resided in Racine all her life. She was united in marriage to Frank Sharkozy on April 25, 1938. Their unity of marriage created and raised a family of four children, Frank (Judy) Sharkozy, David (Jean) Sharkozy, Steve (Barbara) Sharkozy, and Dan (Peggy) Sharkozy, all residing in Racine. Jane was a devoted wife, loving mother and an extremely compassionate and caring person to all. Jane always put the needs of others ahead of her. She is survived by all her children; sister, Lois Thellefsen; 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grand- children; four great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her parents; a brother, Earl Hermes; and her great- grandson, Frank. Visitation will begin at Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. and will continue at St. John Nepomuk Church (700 English St.) on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 9 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
