Jane Page Hibbits nee Fox, 91 died peacefully on November 30, 2016. Jane was born on November 28, 1925 in Friendship Heights, Maryland. She grew up in her Grandfather's home where her deep love of history and tradition began. She attended
Indiana University then moved to New York City where she graduated from merchandising school. During a break from school, she met her true love while working in Spring Lake, NJ. She married William (Bill) Hibbits in 1951. They lived in NJ until 1965 then moved their family to Winfield, IL. Jane was very active in her community, church, bridge and garden clubs in addition to all of her children's activities including sports, clubs and school. She was everyone's favorite employee at the Paper House in Wheaton for over 30 years. She was very proud of her heritage which led to her involvement with the DAR. Her grandfather, William Tyler Page, was the author of the American's Creed. Jane was adored by her grandchildren and she passed on her values and traditions to them all.This was especially evident during all the holidays. She was admired by everyone who met her. Jane is survived by her three daughters Joan Vogel, Mary (Michael) Corcoran and Nancy (Mike) Berendt. Grandchildren Christine Vogel Bradley, Graham and Troy Corcoran, Riane (Evan) Konc, Lisa (Brandon) Faust, Shaun and Jordan Berendt. Great-granddaughters Page Catherine Bradley and her father Joey T. Bradley, Ramona Jane Konc and Nora Catherine Faust, her sister Mary Catherine (Cay) Drury along with adoring nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son William (Billy) Hibbits Jr., her son-in-law Richard (Rick) Vogel and most recently her husband William (Bill) Hibbits who passed away this July. Funeral mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Church in Winfield on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 10 AM. Immediately following the service please join family in the celebration of Jane's life at the church hall.
