Jane StretchJuly 8, 1935 – September 25, 2017It is with heavy hearts that we regret to announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Jane Stretch of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on September 25, 2017 with her family by her side. Jane was born on July 8, 1935 at the family homestead near Venlaw, Manitoba to her parents John and Pauline Korzenoski. Jane left home to pursue a career as a nurse's aide in Cranberry Portage, Manitoba. There she met the love of her life, Robert Stretch. They were married on August 18, 1956 and were married for more than 45 years. Robert and Jane raised four sons together. After the family moved to Saskatoon Jane worked for many years at Sherbrooke Nursing Home. Jane enjoyed gardening, cooking for her family, travelling and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. Jane was predeceased by her parents John and Pauline Korzenoski, her husband Robert and her siblings Frances Swerda, Lillian Stykalo, Stella Puchailo, and Malcom Korzenoski. Jane is survived by son Derrick (Joanne) and their children Mitchell (Brittany) and their 2 children Ellie Jane and Gabriel and Kyle, son Dean (Jeannie) and their children Jennifer (Jason) and Riley. Son Darren (Shelly) and their children Keagan, Dracey and Shannon, and son Darrell (Debbie). Jane is also survived her brother Edward Korzenoski (Florence) of Prince Albert as well as numerous extended family members. Jane is also survived by and lovingly remembered by her Special Friend Dennis Bantjes with whom she shared many happy memories for over 11 years.
