Janet was a devoted wife to her husband, O. Vernon Freeman, whom she married in 1971. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Jennifer F. Calhoun and Allison George with spouse Chris George.

Janet was a dedicated mother and grandmother, always putting her family first. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and happiness.

Janet was a kind and compassionate woman who had a heart of gold. She always went out of her way to help others and had a passion for serving her community.
