XENIA - Janet Lou Bickett, age 80, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015 after an extended illness. She was born on August 30, 1934 in Xenia and was a lifetime local resident. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph T. and Dorothy M. (Baughn) Bickett, two sisters; Lois Haines Dixon and Joan White, and two brothers; Wendall Bickett and Joseph R. Bickett. She is survived by her sister, Ruth C. (Lonnie) Shattuck and her brother John R. Bickett, both of Xenia, a special niece, Cindy (Carl) Rose, and many other nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Xenia Church of the Nazarene. She retired from ITT Financial after 38 years of faithful service. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Thursday June 18, 2015 at the Xenia Church of the Nazarene 1204 West Second Street, Xenia with Rev. Harold Horton officiating. Interment will be in the Woodland Cemetery in Xenia. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 AM until the noon service time at the church.
