Janet (Gamelin) DuncanAge: 79 • South BurlingtonJanet (Gamelin) Duncan, 79, passed away peacefully at the McClure Miller VNA Respite House Surrounded by her loving family on May 5, 2017. She was born on September 6, 1937 to the late Eugene and Anita (Bouchard) Gamelin. She proudly served her country in the US Air Force. She married the love of her life Theadore Duncan on July 30, 1960 in San Francisco, CA where they met while both serving in the US Military. She enjoyed westerns, golf, watching TV, and womens tennis, especially the Williams sister, even getting up in the middle of the night to watch them play. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved children and their spouses; sons Craig (Lori) and David (Mary), daughters Michele (Doug) and Karen (Cheryl), six grandchildren; Nicole, Josh, Bryan, Courtney, Emily and Tyler; brother Roger, sisters Aline and Jackie, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by a brother Richard.Visitation will be held Wednesday May 10, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 132 Main St, Winooski, Vt 05404. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday May 11, 2017 at 11:00 am at St Pius X Catholic Church, 20 Jericho Rd, Essex Jct, Vt 05452, with burial to follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Winooski.
