Holtz, JanetJanet Holtz, age 79, New London, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at ThedaCare Medical Center Neenah. She was born on Sunday, February 28, 1937, Milwaukee daughter of the late Gustave and Mary Ann (Luterbach) Krueger. On August 28 1954, she was united in marriage to William Holtz at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manawa. Janet loved babies and children and enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, doing genealogy, ceramics, Christmas time, and watching the Packers and Badgers.Janet is survived by her husband Bill; children, Sandra (Steve) Sanders; Tracy (Gary) Apitz; and Jay (Paula) Holtz; grandchildren: Chadwick (Kim) Ritchie; Jared Sanders; Benjamin (Dana) Ritchie; Tera Holtz and Jessica Holtz; great-grandchildren: Eva, Addisen, Kennedy, Wyatt and Austin; her siblings: Nancy Wolf; Don (Karen) Krueger; Marianne (Dave) Freund; Michael Krueger and Jim (Jane) Krueger. She is further survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Marlene Meshnick.Funeral Mass for Janet will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London with Fr. John Kleinschmidt officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
