Janet Castaneda, 40, gained her beautiful angels wings July 10, 2023 after a brief illness. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and children, at Parkridge hospital.
Janet was born October 20th, 1982, to Frank Rose and Jane Ford in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In her childhood, Janet was an adorable, curly-haired spitfire. She competed in beauty pageants and always took home the top prizes. She was the eldest sibling of 3 and always looked out for her brother and sister, even in their adult lives.
Early in life, Janet decided she would have a beautiful family of her own and started her journey to motherhood at the age of 20. She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Larkin , who was her pride and joy. She fell in love with becoming a mother so much that she had two more children in the coming years, both boys, whom she also adored and loved, Diego & Christian.Despite her ailments in life, Janet always made sure her kids knew how much she loved them and was always there for them.
Janet had the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile. She was a private and quiet person, but also very witty and fun! She was fearless and independent, yet sensitive and incredibly compassionate. She was strong-willed and stubborn, but those traits defined Janet. They were part of who she was, and her strength undoubtedly helped her deal with life’s challenges. Until the end, Janet was nothing short of joyful.
We will all greatly miss her smile and adventuresome spirit. But now, we are grateful that she knows what it's like to be genuinely unbound without disease, pain, or treatment.
Janet will be greatly missed by her 3 beautiful children, Larkin Eastburn, Diego & Christian Castaneda (mother), Jane Ford, (sister), Kaitlyn Hughes (brother), Kyle Hughes her nieces (Kirsten and Kinsley), her uncles, aunts, and cousins.
She is proceeded in death by her father (Frank rose) and her grandmother (Rebecca Kish) and her grandfather (Martin Ford)
