Janet Tiitto, beloved mother, grandmother, and wife, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2024, in her hometown of Ashtabula, Ohio. She was born on June 13, 1931, to Henry and Margret Tiitto.

Janet was married to her loving husband, Robert, in 1953, and together they raised four children: Bert Tiitto, Elizabeth Williams (spouse Don), Esther Swartz, and Alfred Tiitto (spouse Lawanna). Janet was a devoted mother and wife, always putting her family first and creating a warm and loving home for her children.

Janet was a caring and nurturing grandmother to her nine grandchildren: Krista Tiitto, Valeri Walke, Michel (Jimmy) Omen, Danielle (James) Huffman, Charlie Tiitto, Ginger (Tom) Spokecan, Becky Williams, Alexandra Tiitto, and Sabrina (Damien) Scott whom she adored and cherished. She took great joy in spending time with her grandchildren, watching them grow and supporting them in all of their endeavors. Too many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren to name but so very much loved.

Janet was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She had a special talent for bringing people together and making everyone feel welcome and loved. Her warm smile and gentle spirit will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Janet's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be forever remembered and cherished for the impact she made on the lives of those around her.

Rest in peace, Janet Tiitto, you will always be loved and remembered.
