LOGANSPORT — Janet K. Miller, 70, of Logansport died Monday, March 16, 2015, at Chase Center in Logansport. A former resident of LaGrange County, she was a graduate of Lima High School in Howe. She worked for many years as a nurse's aide in nursing homes. She was born on July 11, 1944, in Sturgis, Michigan, to William E. and Ireta J. (Stevens) Miller. Surviving are three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Connie Boggs of LaGrange, Pamala and Samuel Swihart of Huntertown, and Penny and Charles Krug of South Bend. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Cathy Hoffman; and a brother, Billy C. Miller. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, with the Rev. Dexter Garman officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange. Memorials may be made to either the First United Methodist Church of LaGrange or the Northeast Center of Indiana.
