Janet Rose Springer73, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016. She was born on May 24, 1943 in Fillmore, Indiana to the late Harold and Juanita (Ray) Broadstreet. Janet was married to the late Thomas L. Springer. She was employed as a teacher and library aide for Perry Township Schools for many years. Janet was a strong person who valued honesty. She was selfless and always put her love of her family first.Janet is survived by children Angela (Steve) Covele, Tim (Tammy) Springer, and Jennifer (David) Buschard; grandchildren, Phillip, Kathleen, Kelly, Katie, Casey, Angelica, Monica, Cameron, and Autumn; great grandchildren, Nicholas, James, Maggie, Jadeyn, Lucas, T. Daniel, and Jacob; siblings Bob (Laura) Broadstreet, Betty (Chuck) Collins, Jerry (Donna) Broadstreet, Peggy Kelly, Carolyne (Steve) Harrold,  Sharon (Leonard) Barker, and Linda (Steve) Davis. She is preceded in passing by her husband parents, and siblings Marjorie Broadstreet, Maurice Broadstreet, Marvin Broadstreet and Patricia Skinner.Services for Janet will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 26, at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Visitation will be Monday from 11:30 a.m. until the hour of service at the mortuary. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family has requested memorial gifts be given to .
