Janice Jackson, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 12, 2024, in Clarksville, Tennessee. She was born on July 25, 1947, to Earl D Bowers and Dorothy Shaver in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas.

She attended Mammoth Spring High School, graduating in 1966, before furthering her education at Arkansas State University. During her career, Janice worked as a school teacher and later Walmart and eventually retired in 2013. Prior to that, she proudly served in the Army as a SP5 in the HHC USA TRADDC & FM unit for 5 years.

Janice had a passion for Family Genealogy and spent many hours researching her roots. She will be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family.

Janice's life may have come to an end due to Arthritis/Osteoporosis, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Janice Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, Earl D Bowers and Dorothy Shaver, Brother, Jerry Bowers of East Peoria, IL and daugher, Erin Jackson of East Peoria, IL. Janice is survived by her loving daughter, Brittany Albertson (spouse Patrick Albertson) of Clarksville, TN, as well as her two cherished grandchildren. Also, one brother, Jerry Adams, Sister, Corlis Homan (spouse Ward Homan), sister-in-law, Petra Bowers and many cousins.

Janice was a classmate of mine in Mammoth Spring High School, Ar. 4 of us hung around together in school. She was a good person, kind and fun to be around. Prayers for her families comfort in their time of grief. She will be missed
