A graveside service for lifetime Lamar resident, Janice L. Bentley will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar. Janice was born on July 30, 1946 at Lamar, Colorado to Carl G. and Margaret (Moon) Appel and passed away on December 4, 2016 at the Prowers Medical Center in Lamar with her family by her side at the age of 70. She is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Carl and Maria Appel and her half-brother, Pete Appel. Janice is survived by her husband, Ken Bentley of the family home in Lamar; son, Kenneth (Patty) Bentley of Broken Arrow, OK; granddaughters, Miranda Bentley of Tulsa, OK and Larissa (T.J.) Turner of Owosso, OK and her great-grandchildren, Aria and Logan. She is also survived by numerous other family and many friends.
