Janice Slaughter , 69, of Garland, Texas, passed on March 29, 2023. Janice was born on June 21, 1953 to Mattie Linzsey. She spent her childhood in Lubbock, Texas and attended Dunbar High School. She would later meet the love of her life Herald Slaughter Sr. and would have 3 children Betty Slaughter, Janine Linzsey, and Herald Slaughter Jr. Janice leaves behind 11 grandchildren. Deshawn Slaughter, Fred Slaughter, Calissia Slaughter, Shaderion Slaughter, Tyjic Slaughter, Tacoris Slaughter Tyquan Slaughter, Harmony Slaughter, Daquaris Slaughter, Jerry Rutherford Jr, and Tambrisha Rutherford. Janice loved everyone and was a strong willed person with an incredible heart. She will be missed by many people because she had a heart of gold that people attached to. She will always be in our hearts and thoughts.
