We are gathered here today to bid farewell to Janice Johnson, who finally escaped the chaos of this world on November 2, 2024. Born on July 3, 1960, in Mobile, Alabama, Janice lived a life filled with laughter, love, and a few too many questionable fashion choices.
Janice, daughter of Jimmie Johnson and Mary Hill, was known for her larger-than-life personality and her uncanny ability to always find the nearest dessert table at any event. She dedicated her life to her career, her friendships, and her collection of cat-themed memorabilia.
Despite her best efforts, Janice never did find the love of her life or start a family of her own. But that didn't stop her from spoiling her nieces and nephews rotten and dispensing unsolicited dating advice to anyone who would listen.
Janice will be remembered for her quick wit, her infectious smile, and her legendary meatloaf recipe (seriously, rest in peace to anyone who tried to eat it). She leaves behind a trail of ex-boyfriends who will never forget her, as well as a closet full of sequined tops that nobody else quite knew how to wear.
In lieu of flowers, Janice requested that donations be made to the local animal shelter in her memory. And if you happen to find any stray cats wandering the streets of Mobile wearing tiny bow ties, just know that Janice is finally at peace, surrounded by her feline friends and an endless supply of chocolate chip cookies.
Rest in peace, Janice. You may have left us too soon, but we know you're up in heaven causing a ruckus wherever you go. And Jimmie and Mary, we know you're relieved that you no longer have to bail her out of jail.
You can to the family or in memory of JANICE JOHNSON.
