Janis Marie Palermo, 69, passed on December 20, 2021 at her home in Bend, Oregon. She was born to Henry Herman Ouellette and Joyce Louise Ouellette in Sutherlin, Oregon on November 25, 1952. She is survived by her beautiful mother Joyce who is 91 years old and lives in Arcata, CA. She is survived by four siblings. Sharon Louise Hutchins 70 of Franklin, TN, Edwin Frank Ouellette 67 of Arcata, CA, Steven Mark Ouellette 62 of Klamath Falls, OR, and James Patrick Ouellette 58 of Arcata, CA. Janis had many nieces and nephews who lovingly called her "Auntie Janis". She is also survived by many Aunts and Uncles in both Oregon and California. 

She married Samuel Anthony Palermo in 1999 and they lived together in Bend, Oregon. She was preceeded in death by her husband who passed on Novemeber 19th, 2021. She was also married to George Alan Davis from 1972 to 1997 and together they raised 2 children. Alan passed away on April 11th, 2015. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Marie Cuevas and her husband of twenty years Joseph Bernard Cuevas and they live in Redlands, CA. She is preceeded in death by her daughter Kelly Lynne Kinyon who passed on February 1st, 2021. She is survived by 5 beloved grandchildren, Jayson Allan Kinyon 22, Joseph Anthony Cuevas 19, Carson Douglas Kinyon 18, Anna Kate Cuevas 16, and Julia Kristine Cuevas 16. 

Janis graduated from Arcata High School in 1970 and attended Humboldt State University and California Satate University East Bay where she graduated in 1986. Janis worked at Certified Public Accountant and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.She had a successful accountancy firm in Bend, Oregon where her business partner was her beloved daughter Kelly. 

Janis will be laid to rest iat Greenwood Cemetary in Arcata, CA next to her daughter Kelly Kinyon.
