He was survived by his 3 children, Cody Hopson of Florence, Gracie Hopson of Florence, and William Hopson of Auburn, His mother, Patricia Hopson of Haleyville.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 24, 2020 at the Elkins Memorial Chapel in Florence, Alabama. Donations can be made at te Elkins Funeral home or on their website.
