On March 28, 2025, the world lost a bright light with the passing of Jarrod McGowan in Baltimore City, Maryland. Born on August 11, 1975, Jarrod lived a life filled with laughter, kindness, and a passion for helping others.

During his time in Baltimore, Jarrod dedicated himself to working at Baltimore and volunteering with the Edmond Till Foundation organization. He tirelessly gave back to his community, making a lasting impact on those around him.

When he wasn't busy with work or volunteering, Jarrod could often be found pursuing his favorite hobby - working. He took pride in his craft and always strived to do his best, no matter the task at hand.

Unfortunately, Jarrod's life was cut short due to a tragic incident of gun shot trauma. While we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the joy and warmth that he brought to the world during his time with us.

Jarrod may be gone, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest in peace, Jarrod McGowan.
