We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jasmine Cavin, born on June 7, 1970 in Joliet, Illinois. She passed away on August 3, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Jasmine was the daughter of Micheal and Donna Mack. She married the love of her life, Roosevelt Gerome Cavin, in the year 2015. They were blessed with three children, Terry Woods, Tierra Woods, and Erica Brown Cavin.

Jasmine was a dedicated student who attended Rosedale High School and went on to graduate from Loyola University in 1998. She pursued a career in social worker and later landed a job working at DCFS, where she poured her heart into helping others especially children.

When Jasmine wasn't working, she enjoyed reading, writing, and lending a helping hand wherever she could. She was known for her kind heart and unwavering dedication to her job.

Although Jasmine is no longer with us, her memory will live on through her beloved family, including her six grandchildren.

Jasmine will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace. Rest in peace, Jasmine.
