We are saddened to announce the passing of Jasmine Cavin, born on April 3, 1970, in Joliet, Illinois. She peacefully left this world on August 4, 2024. Jasmine was the beloved daughter of James and Donna Mack and loving spouse of Roosevelt Gerome Cavin, whom she married in the year 15.

Jasmine leaves behind a legacy of love through her three children, Terry Woods, Tierra Woods, and Erica Brown Cavin, as well as her six cherished grandchildren.

She attended Rosedale High School and went on to graduate from Loyola University in 1998. Jasmine dedicated her career to helping others at Children and Family Services.

In her free time, Jasmine enjoyed playing sports, reading, and writing. Her passion for helping others was evident in everything she did.

Jasmine will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
