Mr. Jason Mitchel "Jake" Pratt passed away on Oct. 4, 2016, in Butte, Montana. Jake was born on Feb. 24, 1975, in Butte, the only son of Mitchel "Mickey" Owen and Marie Aileen Pratt.Jake was educated in local schools before beginning his career in construction. He began working in Big Sky, Montana. He was working for Ebbinghausen Homes, of Bozeman, Montana at the time of his death. He married Melissa Manrique, in Bozeman, Montana, in 2008. They were blessed with four children: Hoyt, Kelly, Abi, and Mikal.Jake enjoyed the Big Sky of Montana, and all it had to offer. An avid outdoorsman, Jake enjoyed fishing and folfing. He especially enjoyed time spent, in the wide open spaces of Montana, riding his Harley Davidson.Jake was preceded in death by his grandparents, Theodore and Arlene Pratt, and William Rogers; his father; his uncles, Tony, Marty, and David Pratt; and his aunt, Jayme Pratt. He is survived by his grandmother, Aileen Rogers; his mother, Marie Pratt; his wife, Melissa; his children, Hoyt, Kelly, Abi, and Mikal; his grandchildren, Hoyt and Hailey Henderson; his uncle, Willy (Paige) Rogers; his aunts, Linda (Steve) King, Lois Mrkich, Julie (Jeff) Nelsen, Peggie (Tom) Hart, Terri Becktold, Joella Campbell, and Theo Standish. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Steve Manrique; his nephew, Hunter; and numerous cousins and cherished friends.A celebration of Jake's life will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Duggan Dolan Mortuary Chapel.
