Jason Oneal Buckens, 46, of Detroit, Michigan, passed away on May 22, 2022. Jason was born on May 21, 1976, to Arthur L. Buckens Sr. and Flora Jean Buckens, who both proceeded him in death. He was the baby boy of six. He is survived by his following family members: [Kids] King Joshua Oneal Buckens, Karien Mitchell, Kaylin Mitchell, and their mother Dedonna Mitchell; [Siblings] Viola Buckens, Tracy Williams, Arthur L. Buckens Jr., Tony (Lisa) Fountain, and Clifton (Monique) Buckens.
Jason received his education from Thomas Edison Elementary, Cerveny Middle where he discovered his talents and passion for rapping and the performing arts. Jason was a loving man and he always knew how to make people laugh. Jason graduated from Thomas Cooley High School. His first job was at the Northwest theater and he later attended nursing school to become a patient care tech for Providence Hospital. He worked there until his health started to decline.
Jason was the type of person that brought laughter into every room he stepped into and enjoyed making people laugh. He was a very caring and loving person, especially to his family. He believed family should stick together no matter what. Jason enjoyed his time with his children, family, and friends.
Jason was determined to live his life the way he wanted, on his own terms without any regrets. #MOB Stick to the Script.
Jason leaves not only his family but friends and godchildren as well. He will be remembered by his entire family and continue to live on for him.

Nieces: Catherine Buckens, Paris McGhee, Kimberly Bell, Angel, Angela, Amire Buckens, and Porsha Fountain.
Nephews: Christopher Buckens, Clifton Buckens Jr., and Tony Fountain Jr.
