Jason P. "Jay" Menda, 55, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly on Friday early Morning, August 22, 2025. He was born in Springfield on November 3, 1969, the son of Paul and Sue (Augustus) Menda. Jason will be survived by his siblings brother Michael Fishwick and sister Taauna Fishwick; His children Darius Menda and wife Ashley Menda; Daughter Rachel Phillips. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11-2 p.m. Tuesday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. A celebration of Jay's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home followed by a reception in The Landing at Littleton & Rue.
