Jean Haney Foreman LEVELLAND-Jean Haney Foreman, 87, passed away Friday Nov.25, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday Nov 30, 2016 at George Price Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Levelland Cemetery. The Reverend Jon Sharpe will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday Nov. 29, at the chapel. She was born on May 1, 1929 in a rural area of Stephens County outside of Marlow, OK, to Ray Barker, Sr. and Naomi Lee (Alexander) Barker. She was the 4th child of 11 children. She attended Marlow public schools. She married Cecil J. Haney on April 26, 1949. He preceded her in death on Nov. 8, 1997, at the age of 73. They were parents to three sons, Allan (deceased) Lynn, and Mark. She remarried in July 1999 to a former high school sweetheart, Billy Mac Foreman and moved back to Marlow, OK. Mr. Foreman died in Aug. of 2003 and she returned to Lubbock. She was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Levelland and had been a sales clerk at numerous businesses in Levelland before moving to Lubbock in 1996. Her survivors include son, Lynn and wife, Sue, son, Mark and wife, Shenaz; grandchildren, Julie Sanders and husband, Bart, Jill Dudley and husband, Price; grandson, Omar Haney and granddaughter Shadiana Haney; four great-grandchildren: Connor and Chloe Sanders and Emma and Lilly Dudley; sister, Judy Bean of Irving, Texas, and sister, Erma Lee Gardner of Orange, CA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
