Jean Marie Sneeringer East Lansing  died on March 27, 2017 at 92 years of age.  She was born on October 29, 1924 in Detroit, MI to Harry and Fern Foster, and married Eldon Sneeringer in 1955. Jean and Eldon lived in Flint, MI prior to moving to Okemos in 1961.She was preceded in death by both parents, her brother Harry and husband Eldon.As a young woman, she worked helping procure materials for the WWII war effort. Jean was an avid Bridge player and was a long-time member of Beta Sigma Phi. Jean and Eldon enjoyed traveling the United States, Europe and Canada.She is survived by her two children, James (Robin) Sneeringer of Wixom, Nancy (John) Palazzolo of Williamston, four grandchildren, Brad, Jill, Jennifer and Michelle. Three great grandchildren, Samuel, Charlie and Cara.Funeral Services Thursday 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior at Okemos Community Church. In lieu of flowers those who desire may make a donation in Jean's name to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, P.O.
