DOVER, N.H. – Jean Paul Beaudoin, 88, died Thursday, October 13, 2016, at his home after a period of failing health. Jean Paul was born on October 14, 1927, in Berlin, N.H., the son of Napoleon and Germaine (Lambert) Beaudoin and had been living in Dover for the past eight years, moving from Somersworth, N.H. and previously from Rochester, N.H. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force after serving for thirty years, retiring as a Lt Col. He enjoyed playing golf and playing hockey in his youth. He is predeceased by his wife, Muriel (Reimer) Beaudoin who died in 1985, and was also predeceased by a sister, Clarise Voiselle and by a great-grandchild, Dylan. Surviving members of the family include two sons, John Beaudoin and his wife Joyce of Palm Beach Garden, Fla. and Paul Beaudoin and his wife, Debbie of Manchester, Conn; one daughter, Suzanne Schober and her husband Mike of Tucson, Ariz., two brothers, Richard Beaudoin, and Joe Beaudoin; three sisters, Cecile Sickler, Marguerite Lettre and Rita Lamontagne; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours will be held at the H. J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main St., Rochester, N.H. on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Mary's Church in Dover, N.H. followed by burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Rochester, N.H.
