Perry, Jean, 81, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010. She was born on November 7, 1928 in Quincy, IL, to Everett and Goldie Sparks; one of 6 children. She attended Liberty High School and graduated in 1946. Jean married Gordon Perry in Quincy, IL, on February 3, 1950 and to this union 4 children were born. Jean was a resident of Wichita, KS, for 47 years and employed by St. Joseph Hospital as an Inventory Control Clerk for 15 years. She was a member at Hillside Christian Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren and enjoyed following all of their activities. Jean traveled around the country following her husband's Air Force career. After retirement, they enjoyed traveling in their motor home. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Steven Allen Perry; brother, Harold Sparks; and sister, Barbara Rottmann. Jean is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gordon Perry; children, Craig (Kathi) Perry, Arlington, TX; Joanne Brady, Derby, KS; Lori (Michael) Foley, Katy, TX; brothers, Donald Sparks and Everett Sparks, sister, Judy Graff; grandchildren, Tegan Perry and Davin Perry, Wichita, KS; Jarrett Perry, Arlington, TX; Jennifer Brady and Justin (Rachel) Brady, Derby, KS; Andre Windsor and Logan Foley of Katy, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Visitation: Tuesday, 5 8 p.m. at Lakeview Funeral Home. Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Hillside Christian Church.
