Jean Schneider (nee Bungart), age 92, was released from her suffering onThursday November 24, 2016. She was born on June 14, 1924 in Lorain, Ohio and has lived in Avon her entire life. She was an avid reader and knitter and enjoyed travelling and working on crossword puzzles. She was a founding member of the Black River Trail Blazers. She is survived by her daughters Susan (David) Donofrio and Jofran (Bob) Pastor, sister Bobby (Frank) Piveronas, sister-in-law Evelyn Schneider, brother-in-law Roy Schneider, 4 grandchildren: David (Ryan Ladina) Donofrio, Frances Allen, Elizabeth Allen, and Tomas Pastor, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Clayton J. Schneider, son Tommy Schneider, daughter Kate (Kristie Stewart) Schneider, and sister Frances Patton. The family will receive friends on Wednesday November 30, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 PM at the MISENCIK FUNERAL HOME, 36363 Detroit Rd., Avon. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday @ 11:00 AM @ St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, Avon. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
