Jean Brown, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on June 5th, 2023, at the age of 73 due to complications from Covid.

Jean was born on January 1st, 1950, in Leavenworth, Kansas, to parents Jonny and Nicole Brown. She was brought up in a loving family, with a strong sense of community, and a deep faith in God. Jean had a happy childhood and was greatly loved by her parents and siblings.

Jean attended Leavenworth High School, where she excelled academically and made lifelong friends. She graduated in 1968 and went on to pursue a career in healthcare. She worked as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) for over 30 years, providing compassionate care to countless patients. Her colleagues and patients alike admired her work ethic and dedication to improving the lives of those in her care.

Jean married her high school sweetheart, and together they raised a daughter whom they cherished. Her daughter was her pride and joy, and Jean was incredibly proud of her accomplishments.

In her free time, Jean enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and reading. She had a curious mind and was always seeking new knowledge and experiences.

Jean will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her family and friends take comfort in knowing that she has gone to be with the Lord.

Jean is survived by her daughter and her siblings. Her parents and a brother who passed before her will be there to welcome her home in heaven.

A celebration of Jean's life will be held at a later date.
