Jeffrey Lanser Jeffrey A Lanser, 54, of Minot, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in his home. Jeff was born on June 20, 1959 in Racine, Wisconsin to Leonard and Arlene Lanser. He was raised in Racine and graduated from Park High School in 1977. He joined the Air Force in 1978 and married Denise Page. They were married for 25 years and had four children together. He retired from the Air Force in 2004 as a Master Sergeant and later went back to work for the Air Force as a civilian. Jeff was active with the First Baptist Church in Minot, where he served on the audit committee, as an usher and media operator. He loved spending his time with his friends and family and was looking forward to a trip to the Holy Land in the upcoming months. Jeff loved the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers. Jeff is survived by his former spouse, Denise (Page) Lanser and their children, Jessica (Lanser) Nixa and her husband Luke Nixa of Sioux City, IA, Jeremy Lanser and his wife April Lanser of Bismarck, Joanna (Lanser) Snyder and her husband Brett Snyder stationed at Dover AFB, DE and Jonathan Lanser and his wife Nicole Lanser of Minot and his 12 grandchildren. Jeff is also survived by his mother Arlene Lanser of Racine, Wisconsin, sister Donna (Lanser) Rangel of Racine and Leonard (Lenny) Lanser of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Lanser. Celebration of Life Service: Monday, September 23, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church, Minot. Booksigning: Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 12-5 P.M. at Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
