Jeffrey Crofford Sr., was born on March 3, 1971, on the west side of Chicago, IL Willis Crofford Jr. and Berniece Crofford.

Jeffrey attended Westinghouse High School where he honed his skills in wrestling, cooking and he was almost known to be the family comedian. There was never a dull moment when Jeff was around. He pursued a career as a truck driver, where his love for the open road and adventure could be fully realized.

Jeff was a beloved child, brother, uncle, husband, father and grandfather. On October 29, 2024, Jeff was called home to be with the Lord. In Heaven, Jeff will join Willis Crofford III, Bernice Crofford, and Willis Crofford, Jr.

Jeffrey will always be remembered for his incredible skills of being a loving and caring father and brother, infectious laugh and knack for storytelling. His family and friends will never forget the countless hours spent gathered around the dinner table, listening to him crack jokes and play fight with everyone.

He leaves behind his a wife, Daughter - Tyeanna and sons Jeffrey Jr., Israel, and Nazareth - one cherished grandchild Damonie J. sisters, JoAnne Monroe, Laura Williams and LaShonda Stewart; brother, Desmond Crofford; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Rest in peace, Jeffrey. You may have left us too soon, but your memory will live on forever in our hearts and in the stories we tell.
