SCHRECKJeffrey Brian Schreck, 58 of Warsaw KY, formerly of Erlanger, KY, passed away on February 16, 2017. He was born on October 24, 1958 to the late Roger Schreck and Doris Schreck (Henery). Jeff's parents believed in the importance of family and their faith. Jeff was a graduate of St. Henry High School and grew up spending many weekends at his family's campsite at Sugar Bay in Warsaw. Always an avid sports fan, Jeff played minor league baseball for the Gulf Coast League Expos in 1977 and later coached 8th grade basketball at St Henry. He loved his Kentucky Wildcats, Greenbay Packers, Cincinnati Bengals and Nascar.After retiring from Delta, Jeff worked for the City of Erlanger, Beechwood School Corporation and most recently Gallatin County Schools. Jeff's years of hard work enabled him to fulfill his life's dream of purchasing a home on the Ohio River to enjoy relaxing and spending time with his greatest love….family. Jeff was preceded in death by both parents, a brother, Stephen Charles Schreck, and a sister, Gwendolyn Ann Schreck. He is survived by his wife Michele Ragan-Schreck; son, Andrew Brian Schreck; daughter, Olivia Marie (Joshua) Hammons; son, Scott Ryan Tridle; son, Evan Thomas Tridle; grandchildren, Dylan, Addison, Landyn and Jackson; brother, Roger William Schreck (Jennifer); four nephews and one niece. Jeff also leaves behind many cherished friends that he also considered to be family. Funeral Mass Services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday February 24, 2017 at St. Henry Catholic Church, 3813 Dixie Hwy, Elsmere, KY 41018. The family is planning a Celebration of Life in Jeff's honor to be held at a later date.
