On September 10, 2024, the world lost a shining light with the passing of Jemila Mohamud of Louisville, Kentucky. Born on January 1, 1982, to proud parents Hassan Abdu and Aisha Souliaman, Jemila brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. Her brother in law Munir Ibrahim and jemal Ibrahim were proud also.

Jemila was a dedicated employee at UPS, where she worked tirelessly to provide for her two beloved children, Jemal Abdu and Sumeya Abdu. Despite her busy schedule, she always made time for her favorite hobby of taking long walks and enjoying the beauty of nature.

Jemila will be remembered for her infectious smile, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family. While her presence will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
