Partch, PhD, Jenifer Janet Jenifer Janet Partch, PhD, 68, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2017. The cause was metastasized
breast cancer. She was born on July 9, 1948 in Madison, WI to Dr. Max and Betty Partch. She grew up in St. Cloud, MN, received a bachelors degree from Hamline University, a masters degree in anthropology from The
Ohio State University and in public administration from University of Cincinnati, and a PhD in Counseling Psychology from
Arizona State University. She is survived by her daughter, Lauren Partch, sisters Sara Partch and Ellen Partch (Walter Heins) and brother Robin Partch (Paula Klimek-Partch) as well as many loving friends. She worked as an affirmative action officer at the University of Cincinnati, a public administrator for Planned Parenthood, an avian field surveyor for US Fish & Wildlife in Puerto Rico and as a Psychologist for the Arizona Department of Corrections. Jenifer was an avid backpacker and environmentalist and was an active volunteer with Girl Scouts of America, Amigos de las Americas and the Phoenix Friends Meeting. Jenifer was a creative, passionate, curious and generous woman. Her spirit and legacy will live on in her family and friends. Donations can be made to The Nature Conservancy or to an environmental .
