CHENEY-Wulf, Jennie Marie (Sponenberg) 95 passed away on March 12, 2016. Jennie Marie was born on May 27, 1920 in Cheney, KS to the late Clark & Jennie Sponenberg. She was married on May 18, 1941 to the late Alvin Wulf. She spent most of her life in Cheney and lived in Augusta, KS the last 10 years. She was a homemaker and substitute teacher. She is survived by her children Brent (Marla), The Woodlands, TX; Craig (Kathy), Wichita, KS; Nancy (Phil) Hurn, Mt Vernon, MO, Janelle (Bill) Ledgerwood, Augusta, KS; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren; sister Ruth Pearson, Wichita, KS. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from noon - 9:00 PM with family present from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Wulf-Ast Mortuary, Garden Plain, KS. Services will be held on 10:30a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Trinity United Christian Church, Cheney, KS with Pastor Keith Cross officiating. Interment to follow at Pioneer Cemetery, Cheney, KS.
