Jennie V. MooreShreveport, LA - Jennie V. Moore, at the age of 87, passed away gracefully in Shreveport, LA on November 4, 2017. She was born on March 26,1930 in Longstreet, LA. She lived a life of honesty, grace, and respect. She was preceded in death by her parents Julius and Viola Thomas Jenkins, her sisters Louise White, Goldie Giles, Ora Lee Smith, brothers M.C. Jenkins, Boyce Jenkins, and sons Larry Lee Young and J.D. Moore, Jr. Mrs. Moore is survived by her brothers Wilbert Jenkins (Logansport, LA), Leon Jenkins, FB Jenkins, (Marshall, TX), Lonnie Jenkins (Four Forks, LA), Robert Jenkins (Los Angeles, CA), sister Corrine (Four Forks, LA), granddaughters Latosha Robinson, Linda Ware, Jaclyn Smith, seven great grandchildren a host of relative and friends.Celebration of life services will be held at 11 am Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Mount Hermon Baptist Church, 4109 Powell Street, Shreveport, LA, with Pastor Terry Stafford officiating. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.Visitation will be Friday, November 10, 2017 from 6:30-7:30 pm at Mount Hermon Baptist Church.A very special thanks to Rev.
