Jennifer Blair Hooper, 67, was called home on April 30, 2018, in Yuma, Arizona surrounded by her loved ones.
Jennifer was born May 13, 1950, in Yuma to Chile and Ferne Blair. She attended Yuma High School where she graduated in 1968 and was proud to be a "criminal." Jennifer married her loving husband, Mike Hooper on May 28th, 1977. Jennifer was an instructional aide in the Special Education department at the Yuma School District One for 26 years. She loved each of the children she taught over the years. She enjoyed spending time in Colorado trout fishing and loved crafts of all kinds. Jennifer had a special place in her heart for all animals, especially puppies.
Jennifer is survived by her husband Mike Hooper, her children, Donna Netzel and Scott Hooper, her sister Annette Blair Giermann, her grandchildren Kyle Netzel, Nicole Netzel, Katie Netzel Szajman, Nathaniel Hooper, and Anne Hooper, as well as her nieces and nephews, David Hooper, Stephen Hooper, Tammy Hooper Capp, Erin Hooper Young, Matthew Hooper and Alexis Giermann.
Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Ferne Blair and her brother-in-law Ed Giermann.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at her home. Further information can be obtained by calling Annette at 626-862-0471.
