Jennifer Powell, 50, of Castleberry, Alabama, passed on March 10, 2023. Jennifer was born on September 14, 1972 to parents Clarence "cotton", and Ivie Roberts in Baxley, Georgia. She attended schools in both Walker and Jefferson county, before seeking higher education at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She obtained a BS in social work, a job she had always felt a calling to through the lord to help those. She passed peacefully in her home on the lake a place she welcomed others too for an embrace of joy. Jennifer was loved by all who knew her, she is proceeded in death by her father Clarence, and two sets of grandparents. She is survived by her mother Ivie, sister Connie and her spouse Steve, two children a daughter Toni and son Zane Powell as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

At the wish of the family Jennifer will not have a service at this time but will follow with a celebration of life to share memories before spreading her ashes on the lakeshore.
